I recently spent time in the beautiful country of Japan and had the opportunity to play several courses. The whole process of golf in Japan is a full-day ordeal. You arrive, play nine holes, stop and have lunch and then are assigned a tee time to play the second nine. After golf there is the hot spring soak and lots of beer! It’s really quite the experience! If you ever have a chance to play in Japan, I highly recommend it!

Along with golfing, I had a lot of fun shopping for golf wear. The designs are unique and made for the Asian markets.  There is such a variety of options and brands; they go all out when it comes to ladies’ golf clothing. There are a few new companies that are now selling in the U.S.  Check out Anew Golf USA.   The style is edgy and has a level of high-fashion and sophistication.  They even did a pop-up debut during Paris Fashion week last fall.  This should give you an indication of how women’s golf wear is taking off in a whole new exciting direction.

Also take look at Chamule a hot Korean golf brand that’s athletic but still highly refined. They combine performance features like UV protection and breathability with modern aesthetics.

Another popular brand is WAAC, ‘Win At All Cost,” reflecting its competitive ethos. Its mascot “Waacky” is devilish character that symbolizes their winning spirit.  Check out waacshop.com.

Just a heads up: the Asian brands tend to run on the small side so definitely size up.

The merchandising is on-point, here are a few photos from Japan.
