With renovations happening at historic Wilshire Country Club over the next year, the JM Eagle LA Championship had to find a host for next season. El Caballero Country Club is that new host.
El Caballero is an exclusive club located in the San Fernando Valley in the Los Angeles area, and is the host of the 2024 U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship.
While the course was originally built in the 1920’s, it reached its current form in the 50’s. This connects the new host in history to Wilshire, which has been a loved golf course by players on tour.
“Wilshire Country Club has been a tremendous partner for the past six years, and we are excited to follow the progress of Wilshire Country Club’s renovation project into 2025,” said Tim Erensen, managing partner for Outlyr, tournament operator for the JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Plastpro.
The management of El Caballero is excited to connect the future of the game, with the current superstars in this event.
“El Caballero is honored to welcome back the LPGA Tour to the San Fernando Valley for the 2025 JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Plastpro,” said Phil Lopez, general manager of El Caballero Country Club. “With the future stars of the game competing at El Caballero this summer at the U.S. Girls’ Junior and followed by the JM Eagle LA Championship in 2025, we look forward to welcoming the most talented female golfers in the world to our club.”
