The LPGA Tour released its schedule for the 2026 season this morning, here are some interesting notes on where and when the LPGA will be playing its tournaments next season:
- The season kicks off once again in Orlando at Lake Nona Golf & Country Club for the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions. Unlike in the past, there will not be a second tournament played early in the season in the United States.
- The second event of the season will not be played until Feb. 19 -22 in Thailand. The LPGA Tour will carry on its normal Asian swing until early March.
- March 19-22, a new event is coming to the Bay Area, as the Fortinet Founders Cup will be played at Sharon Heights Golf & Country Club in Menlo Park, California. This kicks off the West Coast swing that includes stops in Phoenix, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.
- As was reported earlier this week by GolfWeek, it appears The Chevron Championship is moving away from The Club at Carlton Woods, as the venue is currently labeled TBD. It will still be played in Houston April 23-26.
- The Mizuho Americas Classic, played May 7-10, is also moving to a new location, to Mountain Ridge Country Club in West Caldwell New Jersey.
- Both the Kroger Queen City Championship (May 14-17) and the Dow Championship (June 11-14) are moving up in the schedule and are better positioned to have strong fields.
- The LPGA Tour is making its return to Los Angeles for the U.S. Women’s Open June 4 at Riviera Country Club. The other stateside major, The KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, will be played June 25-28 at Hazeltine National Golf Club near Minneapolis.
- July 9-12, the European swing begins at the Evian Championship. After a week off, the Scottish Open will be played at Dundonald Links, followed by the final major of the season, The AIG Women’s Open at Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club.
- August looks similar to in past years, with a three week run of The Standard Portland Classic, the CPKC Women’s Open and the FM Championship.
- After a pretty quiet September, filled with just The Solheim Cup and NW Arkansas Championship, the fall will carry a similar schedule to past years, with The Lotte Championship in Hawaii leading into the second Asian swing of the year.
- Finally, The Annika driven by Gainbridge and the CME Group Tour Championship will round out the schedule, with the final event being played Nov. 19-22.
