Lucy Li, the 22-year-old, third-year LPGA Tour player from Northern California, is now a college graduate.

For the past few years, Li has been working toward her degree while playing on the LPGA Tour. Li announced recently on Instagram that she had been attending classes at the University of Pennsylvania while also pulling double duty on tour.

During her time at Penn, Li accumulated a 4.0 GPA, and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Data Analytics and Psychological Sciences.

That’s impressive in itself, but considering her tour schedule, it is only magnified. Over the last three years, Li has played in 57 LPGA Tour events with 14 top-20 finishes. In 2024, Li finished No. 33 in the CME Standings and had three top-10 finishes, including a heartbreaking runner up in Arkansas.

Li is perhaps best known as being the youngest player to ever qualify for a U.S. Women’s Open at 11-years-old in 2014. She also won the girl’s 10-11 division at the first ever Drive, Chip and Putt finals and is the youngest player to qualify for the U.S. Women’s Amateur at 10-years-old.

Li is currently ranked No. 78 in the Rolex Rankings, but now obviously has a lot less on her plate. She could be a dark horse candidate to represent the United States in the 2026 Solheim Cup.
