The Meijer LPGA Classic is back this week, one of the most consistently exciting events on the LPGA Tour schedule. Here are the five players most likely to win this week:
No. 5 – Lilia Vu – While Lilia Vu has only really been in contention once in 2025, at The Ford Championship, she did win here last season coming directly off an injury. Vu should have very positive memories on this course heading into the 2025 playing.
No. 4 – Brooke Henderson – Brooke Henderson is on a long streak of not winning, but there is no better place or time for her to break that. Henderson has won three times on Father’s Day weekend including twice on this course. This is a tournament where players who know the course perform solidly, and Henderson embodies that more than anyone.
No. 3 – Ayaka Furue – It is impossible to bet against Ayaka Furue at any time, but especially here on a course that should play to her strengths of getting the ball in the fairway and hitting greens. Furue has the most high finishes in the world over the last three years, and should be a solid bet to win this weekend.
No. 2 – Leona Maguire – Maguire has won here and finished second in a playoff in previous years. She should be set to go on a course she has ultimate confidence on. Even though she hasn’t played well this season, look for that to change this week.
No. 1 – Hannah Green – I feel good about Hannah Green, who is looking to really break through in 2025. Against a relatively weak field, this feels like the time to do it. Great players generally win on this course and Green is a great candidate to continue that trend.
