Being just a little over halfway through the 2025 LPGA Tour season, let’s take a look back at all 18 tournaments competed this year, now with 9-7:

6. – Honda LPGA Thailand – A lot of people likely forget about the Honda LPGA Thailand because it was so early and played with Asian swing TV times, which aren’t exactly the most convenient for viewers in America. It was thrilling though. Angel Yin won the tournament with an incredible -28 score, but was given a run for her money by rookie Akie Iwai who shot a blazing 61 on the final day. It was only a two-horse race, as Iwai was six strokes clear of third place thanks to probably the best non-major championship round of the year.

5. – ShopRite LPGA Classic – The ShopRite LPGA Classic featured probably the most interesting duel of the season as Jennifer Kupcho, looking for her first win since 2022, faced off against a bit of a Cinderella story in Ilhee Lee. Kupcho closed well with Lee chasing, needing a birdie putt to fall on the final hole to win her fourth-career event. She did indeed bury it, giving her a tight, walkoff win. Lee’s run at the end, with birdies on her final two holes, really helped sell this as one of the best finishes this season has given so far.

4. – Ford Championship – Moving forward, every tournament went to a playoff, and the first playoff of the LPGA Tour season is the No. 4 slot. The Ford Championship in Arizona was fantastic in 2025, featuring major champions Lilia Vu and Hyo Joo Kim at the center of the action. Kim birdied two of the final three holes in regulation to make it to the playoff, then birdied the first playoff hole to seal the victory. While it was a thrilling, fantastic finish, the top three had other factors that elevated them above this one.
