Rookie Miranda Wang of China was phenomenal on the greens Saturday, leading her to take the lead into the final round at the FM Championship played at TPC Boston.

Wang entered the day trailing Sei Young Kim by three strokes, but made an early birdie on the second hole before going on a streak of three birdies made on holes 6, 7 and 8.

On the back, Wang continued playing consistent golf with terrific putting. Wang made three more birdies on the back without a dropped shot. She made seven birdies in all on the way to a -7 65, which tied her lowest score of the season.

Wang was consistent with her ball striking, hitting 12/14 fairways and 13 greens in regulation, but where she really stole the show was on the greens. Wang had just 24 putts on the round, making them from all distances including a few really long ones.

Sei Young Kim struggled through much of the third round, but did make some late birdies to shoot -1 and stay in a tie for second with Rose Zhang, two strokes off the lead.
