After a week with women’s golf action around the world, let’s check in on the biggest and most prominent movers in the Rolex Rankings:

  • Of course, with the world No. 1 Jeeno Thitikul winning on the LPGA Tour, there is no change at the top spot and Thitikul has built a steady gap between herself and No. 2 Nelly Korda.
  • The only movement in the top 10 this week was Minjee Lee moving back into the No. 3 position, with Lydia Ko moving to No. 4. They have been switching places as of late and are real tight in the standings. Lee’s third place finish helped move her up this time around.
  • Minami Katsu moved up eight slots to No. 35 in the world ranking. While she didn’t get the win in Shanghai, her runner-up finish continues a stretch of strong play dating back to the AIG Women’s Open. She has three top-three finishes in that stretch.
  • The biggest mover in the top 50 was Korea’s Jungmin Hong, who jumped 10 spots to No. 44 thanks to her win on the KLPGA Tour.
  • Somi Lee and Lindy Duncan, both of whom have quietly had strong seasons, both moved into the top 50, Lee coming in at No. 47 and Duncan at No. 49. Duncan’s spot in particular is important as it could have some Solheim Cup implications come 2026.
  • Yui Kawamoto moved up 11 spots to No. 52 in the world thanks to her win on the JLPGA Tour.
  • American Jenny Bae, who had a phenomenal week in Shanghai, moved into the top 100 in the world to No. 91, up 14 spots. She isn’t getting a lot of Solheim Cup discussion, but she should be a real sleeper.
