Because of bad weather and unplayable conditions in the Mobile, Alabama area, the first round of the LPGA Tour’s Qualifying finals has been delayed to Friday.

The Q-Series final, where the final batch of LPGA Tour cards for the 2026 season, was intended to start Thursday at Magnolia Grove on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, kicking off five rounds and 90 holes to determine the top 25 finishers. Despite the heavy weather, it is still intended that five rounds will be played.

For now, officials are planning on a Tuesday finish, as opposed to the originally intended Monday finish. If the course is still unplayable Friday, a consideration will be made to modify the amount of holes played.

The Q-Series is the final qualifying stage that players have been working toward over many rounds. It features players who have lost their cards, newly turned professionals, Epson Tour competitors and international players. The top 25 finishers this week will go on to the LPGA Tour next season.
