We’ve reached the final stop on the official 2024 LPGA Tour schedule. While the Grant Thornton is back and still to be played, this is the effective season finale. With the largest top prize in women’s golf history on the line, here are the five top players to look out for this weekend:

No. 5 – Lydia Ko – Lydia Ko has had a lot of success at Tiburón, she has won on this course twice before, including just two years ago. While she hasn’t played much since her electric end-of-Summer run, she’s still quietly put together back-to-back top-15 finishes and should be in good form trying to bookmark the LPGA Tour season.

No. 4 – Charley Hull – Fans of Charley Hull should be very encouraged by her performance at The Annika. Though some of her post-tournament quotes dominated the discussion, she still had her best week of the season. Now she returns to a course she has had great success on, where she won the first tournament of her career, with a chance to get back in the winner’s circle.

No. 3 – Jin Young Ko – Jin Young Ko is in her longest winless streak of her LPGA Tour career, that could easily change this week. Ko has a great history in this event, with two wins at this course in 2020 and 2021. Though Ko hasn’t won this year, she has made 15/17 cuts and placed in the top 10 seven times.

No. 2 – Jeeno Thitikul – It is almost a given every time Jeeno Thitikul is in the field, she will play well. Thitikul has finished in the top 10 at her last six events, including four top-five finishes. Thitikul once again led the tour in scoring average in 2024 and has finished top 10 in both of her previous appearances in this tournament.

No. 1 – Nelly Korda – The past year has made it almost impossible to bet against Nelly Korda. Add in the incredible play last week at the Annika plus her past play at Tiburón and you have the perfect recipe for success. In her career at this tournament, she has finished in the top 10 in six out of seven appearances.
