Yana Wilson, an 18-year-old rookie on the Epson Tour, won for the first time as a professional this past week in Las Vegas, shooting -17 to win by two strokes over Mohan Du.

Wilson was great, particularly on the weekend, shooting 64-68 in the final two rounds. Over those last two rounds, she made only one bogey with 13 birdies.

Wilson had 112 putts for the week, averaged 257 yards off the tee and hit 42 fairways. For her excellent third round, Wilson hit only eight fairways, but was excellent on approach, hitting 15 greens in regulation and needing only 25 putts to get through the day.

Wilson is one of the more high profile rookies on The Epson Tour as a former USGA Girls Junior Champion and the 2023 winner of the junior portion of The Mizuho Americas Classic. She has made all five cuts in the events she has played and now has three top-10 finishes. She now ranks No. 2 in the Race for the Card standings behind Laetitia Beck.
