Alison Lee, a two-time LET champion and two-time United States Solheim Cup member, is back in action for the first time since October 2024.
After a few-month absence early in the season, Lee announced March 3rd on Instagram that she was expecting. On May 5th, Lee announced she had given birth to a son on April 25th. The 30-year-old revealed that she was pregnant during the 2024 Solheim Cup, and had told teammate Megan Khang and captain Stacy Lewis but kept it quiet other than that.
Lee was in the midst of her strongest stretch of golf for the previous few seasons. From 2017-2021 she had just one top-10 finish on the LPGA Tour, but had 13 between 2022 and 2024. Many consider Lee to be the best active LPGA Tour player without a win.
Now, she is back in action at this week’s LET event in Houston, the Aramco Houston Championship, part of the PIF Global Series. In the event, she will take on a strong field that includes Charley Hull, Celine Boutier and Carlota Ciganda among others.
Lee has found a lot more success on the LET in her career, grabbing wins in 2021 and 2023 in Aramco events.
