After injuring her leg just before the start of the 2024 season, Angel Yin is back in action for the first time at Shadow Creek, and she hasn’t missed a beat.

Yin is coming off the best season of her career, with her first win, six top-10 finishes and her second Solheim Cup appearance. She suffered an injury mere days before the season kicked off, appearing in a walking boot and wheelchair.

At Shadow Creek, it looks like she is right back in her 2023 form, as she has shot -4 on the first 36 holes, placing her in a tie for third currently behind Rose Zhang and Sei Young Kim.

Yin is ranked No. 20 in the Rolex Rankings as of the current moment, keeping her in good position to be back on the United States Solheim Cup team, where she was one of the best performers in 2023.

The T-Mobile Match Play coverage picks up at 6:00 PM est. on Golf Channel and Peacock.
