Anne Van Dam, a native of The Netherlands, will be an assistant captain for the Solheim Cup in her home country.

Van Dam was previously announced as the captain for the 2026 Junior Solheim Cup, and now will be pulling double duty as part of Anna Nordqvist’s captain’s room.

The 29-year-old Van Dam is a five-time winner on the Ladies European Tour. She made her only Solheim Cup appearance as a member of the 2019 winning European team, where she went 1-3.

Van Dam joins Mel Reid and Caroline Hedwall as assistant captains. United States captain Angela Stanford has selected Paula Creamer, Kristy McPherson and Brittany Lang.

“I’m thrilled to have Anne join our team as a Vice Captain for the 2026 Solheim Cup. She brings valuable experience as a player, but just as importantly, she brings energy, passion, and a strong connection to our host country,” said Nordqvist.

The 2026 Solheim Cup will be played September 11-13 2026.
