The Augusta National Women’s Amateur is just a week away, get caught up on every player in the field here starting from the top of the World Amateur Golf Rankings:
JASMINE KOO
The No. 2 ranked women’s amateur in the world, Jasmine Koo finished in fourth place at the 2024 ANWA. Koo is a freshman for USC from Cerritos Calif. Koo has been dominant in college golf thus far with three individual wins and an additional three top six finishes. Perhaps most notably, Koo was the low amateur at the 2024 Chevron Championship.
MIRABEL TING
Ting, a 19-year-old from Malaysia, is joining her college teammate at Florida State, No. 1 ranked amateur Lottie Woad, again at the ANWA. While she saw her teammate win in 2024, Ting finished in the top 10. Ting has had a strong collegiate season so far with five wins.
RIANNE MALIXI
The 18-year-old Duke commit Malixi had a sensational 2024 season, helping to vault her into the top five of the amateur rankings. Malixi, from the Philippines, won both the U.S. Girls Junior and U.S. Women’s Amateur in 2024. Adding an ANWA title to that already incredible resume would put her among the great amateur players ever.
CATHERINE PARK
Catherine Park is yet another USC player, as Florida State and USC dominate the top of the WAGR list. Park was a first-team All American in 2024 and won the last ever Pac 12 individual title. Park was also the low amateur at the 2024 U.S. Women’s Open.
