While there are superstars toward the top of the leaderboard in China currently, the story of the Blue Bay LPGA is long list of some of the best players on the tour without a win in contention.

At the moment, six of the top nine on the leaderboard have not won on tour before. Narin An and Sarah Schmelzel are tied for the top slot at -9 right now, both of whom are looking for that first career win. For Schmelzel, this is the second week in a row that she has been in the lead after a round, she never had been in her career before.

Also looking for their first wins are Hye-Jin Choi at -8 in third, Ruixin Lin, from China at -7, Stephanie Meadow, Bailey Tardy (above) and Lucy Li. Bailey Tardy at -6 is notable, as she held the 36-hole lead at the 2023 U.S. Women’s Open before a tough weekend. It’s still her best finish on tour, coming in fourth.

Of course, there are some established stars on the leaderboard as well. 2016 Blue Bay champion Minjee Lee is in a tie for fourth with Ruixin Lin. Lydia Ko is in a tie for sixth at -6 and 2020 LPGA Tour Player of the Year Sei Young Kim is in a tie for 10th.

The third round kicks off on Peacock at 11:00 P.M. est, and Golf Channel at midnight.
