Starting in Winter 2026-27, the TGL is expanding to include a new women’s league featuring LPGA Tour players.

The TGL is an indoor, team golf league that uses simulators along with custom built green complexes featuring some of the best players on the PGA Tour. The players are mic’d up and the league is meant to bring young viewers and show off the personalities of golf stars.

There were rumors of TGL expanding to the women’s game when Alexis Ohanian, owner of the Los Angeles team, said he was interested in a women’s league. LPGA stars Megan Khang, Michelle Wie West and Rose Zhang have all been involved with the league as ambassadors and owners.

This is another example of the effort that new LPGA Tour commissioner Craig Kessler is putting in to increase the profile of the LPGA Tour and its athletes.

While it will be over a year until the league is officially underway, expect announcements of teams and players in the meantime.
