Anne van Dam, the captain of the 2026 European Junior Solheim Cup team, has started to fill out her captain’s room.
van Dam named England’s Bronte Law as her first assistant captain for the event to be played at Bernardus in the Netherlands. This is the first time the Solheim Cup and Junior Solheim Cup will be played at the same course.
Law has one win on the LPGA Tour, at the 2019 Pure Silk Championship in Virginia. She also has three wins on the Ladies European Tour, most recently in Morocco in 2024.
Law was a member of the 2019 Solheim Cup team at Gleneagles, where Europe won in a thriller. Law went 1-1-2 in that event, but won her pivotal singles match against Ally Ewing.
van Dam and Law, in addition to being teammates on that Solheim Cup team, also played on the same team in the 2013 Junior Solheim Cup, and have a long history together.
