The CME Standings reflect what we have all seen through the beginning of the LPGA Tour season: Nelly Korda is dominating at levels rarely seen in golf.
Korda has been at the top of the CME Standings through most of the season, not shocking considering she has won five consecutive events, tying the record for most won in a row. The shocking part is just how much she is leading by. Korda has collected 2,702 points so far. That is only about 1,560 points ahead of No. 2 Lydia Ko.
Ko herself is off to a terrific start, with three top-five finishes and six top-20s. Ko won the season-opening event in Orlando and lost to Korda in a playoff in the second event of the season in Bradenton.
In third is Hannah Green, the only player other than Korda to win multiple events in 2024. Green won her first tournament of the season in Singapore and followed it up with a win in Los Angeles last week. Maja Stark, coming off back-to-back runner-up finishes is in fourth.
Rounding out the top five is Brooke Henderson, who has quietly had a solid season. Though the fireworks haven’t necessarily been there for Henderson, she has three third place finishes with an additional two top-10s.
While likely nobody will catch Korda in the CME Standings before the final tournament of the season, it is important to keep in mind the Tour Championship on the LPGA is a winner-take-all event.
