Whatever doubt there was that Gina Kim would be earning her LPGA Tour card again in 2025 is definitively gone now as she won The Hartford HealthCare Women’s Championship presented by Munich Re.

Despite a dominant first couple of rounds, Kim’s lead was cut to only two heading into Sunday after she struggled in the third round, shooting a +1 73 that saw her missing seven greens and having 30 putts.

She bounced back in a big way though Sunday shooting a -4 68 to win the championship by six strokes over Melanie Green at -14 for the week.

On Sunday, Kim jumped out to her lead quick despite a bogey on the first. She responded with four birdies on the rest of the front nine including three in a row from holes three to five. She added three more birdies on the back nine with two dropped shots, including on 18 when the event was already out of hand.

Kim now sits well ahead the rest of the Tour in the Race for the Card standings with 1.7k accumulated so far. Already she has almost surpassed last season’s top finisher in the rankings, Lauren Stephenson.

Melanie Green, the runner up, is now No. 2 in the standings, thanks to her excellent play as of late, having finished in the top six at five out of her last six starts. There isn’t anyone on the Epson Tour playing as consistently great at Green.

The Epson Tour is back this week in New York.
