Grace Kim, who won her first major championship this year at Evian, is right back in the mix this week at The Annika driven by Gainbridge, shooting -4 and taking the lead after the morning wave.

It would be tough to say many players are having a better 2025 than Grace Kim. She won her first major title at Evian in thrilling fashion, taking down superstar Jeeno Thitikul in a playoff. Then, she was part of the winning Australian team at the International Crown.

Coming into this week with solid form after a good finish at the Maybank Championship, Kim has been spectacular, shooting -9 in the first two rounds in the Tampa area.

Kim got started hot right away with a birdie on the first hole, but really hit her stride around the middle of the round. Kim made birdies on seven, eight, nine, 10 and 11. On that stretch, she was hitting phenomenal approaches and cashing in with good, solid putts.

Overall, Kim hit 12/14 fairways, 14 greens and had 28 putts. She is taking advantage of the wide landing areas and turning in good results thanks to her relatively long hitting. She has missed only two fairways all week so far.

Kim is looking for her second win of the season, her third overall. The 24-year-old has a strong leaderboard of chasers though, including Haeran Ryu and Linn Grant, who are challenging that lead in the afternoon wave at the time of publishing.
