There has been two updates to the field at the upcoming Grant Thornton Invitational in Naples, the tournament that pairs the stars of the LPGA Tour with players from the PGA Tour.

Rose Zhang will not be taking part in the event anymore, but a solid replacement has emerged. Allisen Corpuz will now be stepping in to play alongside PGA Tour rising star Sahith Theegala. Corpuz and Theegala make sense as a pairing, considering their relatively similar age and Southern California connections. Corpuz attended USC while Theegala is a native of the area and played at Pepperdine. While losing two-time champion Zhang is a tough blow, Corpuz adds another major champion to the list and is a terrific player in these formats, as evidenced by her Solheim Cup performances.

On the men’s side, Billy Horschel, who was supposed to play with Solheim Cup star Andrea Lee, will be replaced by rookie Max Greyserman in his first appearance in the event. Greyserman, like Lee, is sponsored by Callaway, likely setting up this pairing. Greyserman has two runner-up finishes on the PGA Tour this year.
