The big week has finally arrived, when the biggest event in women’s golf tees off from Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in the 2024 edition of the Solheim Cup. Solheim Cup legend and European assistant captain Laura Davies made the proclamation today: “I personally think it’s probably the best women’s world event in sports.” Europe has held the cup since 2019, but the United States has a strong and deep team looking to change that. Here is how to watch the 2024 Solheim Cup (all times Eastern):
On Thursday, September 12, the festivities kick off with the Opening ceremonies, where the first matchups will be announced. It will air on Golf Channel from 4:00 – 6:00 and NBC Digital from 4:30 -5:15.
Friday, competition kicks off with the opening foursomes session. This will last all day, including the afternoon four ball. The entire first day will be broadcast on Golf Channel from 7:00 – 6:30 or the end of play.
Saturday it once again begins bright and early, starting up on Golf Channel at 7:00 and running until 3:00. At 3:00, the coverage will switch over to NBC and Peacock for three hours. At 6:00, it will move back over to Golf Channel if play is not yet completed.
For Sunday singles, TV coverage on Golf Channel will start with the first match at 8:45 and run until noon. At noon, it will move to NBC and Peacock until 3:00. After that, Golf Channel will carry over the coverage until the conclusion of the closing ceremony.
