Another week, another unique setup for air times for the Cognizant Founders Cup, played once again at Upper Montclair Country Club in New Jersey. Make sure you have your streaming services in order for this week.
For the second time this year, ESPN+ is providing extensive featured group coverage all week. On Thursday and Friday, the coverage will begin at 7:30 AM est., and run all the way until 6:30 PM. Thursday will be the best chance to see Nelly Korda along with the winners of the past three events held here, Minjee Lee and Jin Young Ko, who will go off a 7:59 AM est.
Saturday, the coverage will begin on ESPN+ at 8:15 AM est., and run until 5:00 PM. Finally, Sunday will have coverage beginning at 8:00 est., and going until 4:00 PM. All of this will be strictly featured groups coverage.
For the main coverage, Peacock will be the best bet for viewing all week. With the coverage of other tours, Golf Channel will not be carrying any coverage live. Peacock will have three hours of coverage Thursday-Saturday from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Sunday gets an extra hour, beginning at 1:00 PM and carrying through until 5:00, or longer if needed.
Golf Channel will carry these coverage slots on a tape delay but with an hour trimmed off each. Thursday and Friday it will run from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM.
I hope you are taking notes because we aren’t even done yet. Sunday, there will be live coverage broadcast on CNBC starting at 3:00 PM and going through the conclusion of play.
It should be a fun week on tour and a great chance for everyone to wear out their television remotes.
