For the first time since June, LPGA Tour golf is being played on United States soil at The Standard Portland Classic. The Portland Classic is the longest continuously running event on the LPGA Tour dating back to 1972.
The tournament this year is returning to its most frequent host, Columbia Edgewater Country Club, where it has been held all but one time since 2013. Columbia Edgewater first held this event in 1974, where the legendary JoAnne Carner won. Since then, legends like Nancy Lopez, Dottie Pepper, Annika Sörenstam, Juli Inkster, Lorena Ochoa, Cristie Kerr and Brooke Henderson have won at this venue. Last season, Moriya Jutanugarn added her name to the incredible list of champions.
Here is how to watch all four rounds of The Standard Portland Classic (all times Eastern):
Thursday and Friday: The Standard Portland Classic kicks off on Golf Channel at 11:00 AM for each of the first two rounds, where it will run for two hours. At that time, it will switch over to NBC Sports Digital, where the final hour of coverage will be streaming.
Saturday: Saturday brings the hours more commonly associated with West Coast golf as the coverage will begin on Golf Channel at 6:00 PM and run for three hours until 9:00.
Sunday: Sunday’s final round is a bit earlier, kicking off at 4:00 PM on Golf Channel, and running until the conclusion of play, projected to be around 7:00.
There is bad weather in the forecast in Portland, so stay tuned to Fore-All.com and our socials for any updates to the schedule of play.
