Major championships always give fans what they want, strong featured groups that we can see every shot from. This year’s KPMG Women’s PGA Championship is no exception, with strong and intriguing featured groups. Here are the groups to watch at the 2024 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship (all times eastern):

Thursday 10:49/Friday 4:17

Celine Boutier, Nasa Hataoka, Rose Zhang

Not only does this group feature two players ranked in the top 10 in the world, No. 4 Boutier and No. 9 Zhang, it also features one of the most intriguing storylines. Nasa Hataoka, after her recent disqualification, needs to at least finish higher than Ayaka Furue to have a chance at making the Japanese Olympic team. That will be something to keep an eye on for everyone watching this weekend.

Thursday 11:11/Friday 4:28

Hannah Green, Nelly Korda, Ruoning Yin

On paper quite easily the best group of the first two rounds, featuring the No. 1 (Korda), No. 3 (Yin) and No. 5 (Green) players in the world. All three of these players have won this event before and have each won multiple tournaments in the last two seasons (Korda – 6, Green – 3, Yin – 2). I don’t think anyone would be shocked to see one of these three hoisting the largest trophy in golf once again on Sunday.

Thursday 4:39/Friday 11:22

Brooke Henderson, Lydia Ko, Ariya Jutanugarn

A really fun pairing that they dialed up here, with the top three finishers from the last playing at Sahalee in 2016. Brooke Henderson won that event obviously, breaking out as the superstar she is today, while Ko took her to a playoff and Jutanugarn finished just one back. These are three of the great players on tour over the last 10 seasons, and it should be a fun trip down memory lane.

Thursday 4:28/Friday 11:11

Yuka Saso, Jin Young Ko, Lexi Thompson

Yuka Saso won her first of two majors in a thriller that Thompson was a near-champion. Now, she is the most recent major winner after grabbing her second U.S. Women’s Open title at the age of 21. She tee’s it up with Jin Young Ko, who is due for another major, she hasn’t won any of them since 2019. Rounding out the group is Lexi Thompson, who had her best showing of the year last week, going to a playoff that she eventually lost to Lilia Vu.
