The LPGA Tour and the Ladies European Tour are coming together in 2026 for what will be one of the largest purses in women’s golf.
The Aramco Championship will take place March 30 – April 5 2026 at Shadow Creek near Las Vegas. It will feature a $4 million dollar purse bringing together players from both tours. This will be a part of the PIF Global Series on the Ladies European Tour and is the first time the LPGA Tour is co-sanctioning an event.
This will be the first time a 120 person stroke play field has taken place at Shadow Creek, one of the highest ranked public courses in the United States. For the past few seasons, the LPGA Tour has played the Shadow Creek Match Play at the course.
The PIF Global Series was started in 2020 and, of course, is done in partnership with the Saudi Public Investment Fund, which is also partnered with LIV Golf on the men’s side. Notable winners of events in this series include Charley Hull, Nelly Korda, Lexi Thompson and Celine Boutier among others.
The PIF and Golf Saudi have been a major player in the world of professional women’s golf, arguably just as much as on the men’s side. Stars like Hull, Alison Lee, Carlota Ciganda, Danielle Kang and Patty Tavatanakit prominently display their logos while competing. The PIF Global Series events also generally have some of the highest purses in women’s golf and are the best fields yearly on the Ladies European Tour.
