March Madness is here and so are the brackets. So for this special series on the College Corner, I let each school’s women’s golf programs determine my bracket.

I used the NCAA Women’s Golf weighted points rankings to seed every team 1-68, thus determining who will advance in each round. If a school does not have a women’s golf program, I did not let them advance. Let’s take a look at the men’s 2024 bracket:

Unfortunately, we lost a No. 1 seed in the first round on this bracket because the University of Connecticut does not have a women’s golf team.

The national champions are the South Carolina Gamecocks, in because of their No. 4 women’s golf rankings. They defeat No. 10 Auburn in the national championship here.

The next few weeks, we will continue to update the current status of the bracket and how effective it was in predicting the results.
