While it is a major week on the PGA Tour, the LPGA is also putting on one of its best events on the season, and will be well worth tuning into.

This will only be the second playing of the Mizuho America’s Open, held in Jersey City, New Jersey at Liberty National, but it already feels like a premiere event on the schedule.

First and foremost, the event is hosted by LPGA Tour icon Michelle Wie West, who announced on Jimmy Fallon last night that she is expecting her second child. Wie West has done a terrific job spotlighting and marketing women’s golf and this tournament.

Liberty National is also arguably the most stunning setting in American golf, perched right across from Manhattan, New York. The views of the Statue of Liberty and the most iconic skyline in the United States are second to none.

The field features nine of the top 10 players in the world, all except No. 2 Lilia Vu who is dealing with injuries. This includes Rolex ranked No. 1 Nelly Korda, and defending champion No. 6 Rose Zhang, looking for her second win in a row.

Finally, there are actually two tournaments in one, as the best junior golfers in the women’s game play alongside the professionals in an event their own. 24 of them will be in the field this week highlighted by defending champion Yana Wilson.

Viewing times are quick and to the point this week, after the confusion of last tournament. Thursday-Sunday from 3 P.M. est., going until 6 P.M. est.
