In her hometown of Bradenton, Fla., Nelly Korda has taken over the LPGA Drive On Championship, heading into the final round with a four-stroke lead at -13.
While Korda struggled on the first nine, shooting +1 and giving up her lead briefly, she recovered late, shooting -4 on the back nine, including -3 on the last two holes. Korda hit a brilliant sand shot in on 17 to eagle the par five.
Behind Korda at -9 is a three-way tie, including her close friend Megan Khang, defending champion Lydia Ko and Ayaka Furue.
Korda is seeking her ninth LPGA Tour victory and is notoriously strong with a lead heading into the final round. It would be her first win on the LPGA Tour since November 2022, it would be her fourth win in her home state of Fla.
Korda, Khang and Ko will tee off at 11:56 est. with coverage starting on Golf Channel and Peacock at 2:00 est.
