We continue our previews of the 2026 Solheim Cup rosters here with the players that are probably going to represent Team Europe in the Netherlands.
LINN GRANT
Linn Grant’s performance in the 2024 Solheim Cup kept her off the list of locks, she went 0-4-0 on the week and really found nothing positive losing her singles match to the struggling Jennifer Kupcho. Grant is still one of the most purely talented players on Team Europe and plays enough on the LET to probably be high in the standings. She did have a 3-2 record in the 2023 Solheim Cup and has the upside to be the best player on the team.
CARLOTA CIGANDA
It is just really tough to envision a Solheim Cup at this point without Ciganda. While I think it is a good idea for Europe to get younger after the loss in 2024, Ciganda is not where you make that cut. Ciganda has played in seven Solheim Cups and had undefeated records twice. While she is a bit inconsistent in the event, she generally comes to play in the singles matches despite tough competition. She is also a leader in the team room and likely, one of the next captains for Europe.
GEORGIA HALL
Georgia Hall squeaks her way onto this list for the simple reason of it being really hard to see her not at least being a captain’s selection. If her game continues to trend how it has, she will need one. Hall has fallen down to No. 82 in the Rolex Rankings, but still has had great moments in the Solheim Cup. Even in 2024 she quietly had a 2-2 record with a singles win over Alison Lee. Hall is far from a lock to be on the team, but my gut does say she will probably be on the roster in the Netherlands.
