The official LPGA Tour season has wrapped up, with only the Grant Thornton Invitational to be played in a couple weeks. Let’s take a look back at the year at every tournament competed in 2025:
No. 23 – The CME Group Tour Championship – Though the result of the season-finale event didn’t have much suspense on the final day, it gets some bonus points for the incredible play of world No. 1 Jeeno Thitikul, putting on a show for the capper to her record-breaking season. While Pajaree Anannarukarn put some pressure on her during the early stages of the final round, Thitikul pulled away for a four-stroke victory.
No. 22 – HSBC Women’s World Championship – While the leaderboard was encouraging heading into the final day, with Lydia Ko, Charley Hull and Jeeno Thitikul all in contention, Ko pulled away early on the final day and never looked back. She made three birdies on the front nine and was never really challenged, winning by four strokes despite two bogeys on the back nine. The final leaderboard is doing a lot of heavy lifting for this one.
No. 21 – Founders Cup presented by U.S. Virgin Islands – A true golf duel is always a fun way to consume golf, and we had one in Bradenton this year. Yealimi Noh, who was looking for her first win going up against one of the best players of her generation, and coming out on top, was certainly an intriguing early-season story. The issue is that Noh pulled a way too thanks to a poor back-nine performance out of Ko. Noh ended up winning by four strokes.
No. 20 – ISPS Handa Women’s Scottish Open – The skies parted perfectly on Sunday for the crowning of a new LPGA Tour star, Lottie Woad. Playing in her first LPGA event as a member, the college phenom captured the attention of the larger golf world with a three-stroke victory. The tournament was close on the back nine, but some critical mistake by her chasers, led by Hyo Joo Kim, made the walk up 18 comfortable for the young English star.
No. 19 – Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions – The season-opening Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions was a fantastic showcase of what a confident A Lim Kim can do. She gave a wildly impressive performance despite a furious rally from Nelly Korda on the last 10 holes. Kim still won by two strokes and set the tone early for the season, showing a lot of clutch play down the stretch.
