Through 10 events on the LPGA Tour season, there’s been a lot of fantastic events. Almost every event was either decided by one stroke, a playoff or a come from behind victory. While the players have the week off play before heading to the Founders Cup, take a look back this week at the events already played in 2024:

10. The JM Eagle LA Championship – Just to be clear, there hasn’t been an event this season without great moments, and because of Wilshire Country Club, this is one of my favorite events on the calendar. That being said, competition wise it brought the least to the table. While Grace Kim raced out to an early lead, and was chased down by her countrywoman Hannah Green, it wasn’t done in the most exciting way. Wilshire Country Club played difficult on the weekend in particular and Green stayed strong. The most exciting aspect of this tournament was without a doubt Green’s back nine on Sunday. While she went the first 11 holes at even par, she birdied the difficult par 3 12 and never looked back with a birdie on 13, eagle on 15 and birdie on 16. In the end, Green won by three strokes over Maja Stark and six clear of third-place finisher Haeran Ryu.

9. The Blue Bay LPGA – The event with the highest margin of victory this season likely wasn’t viewed by many people. It is hard to blame them, as the China-based event was wrapping up around 4 AM est. This tournament saw Bailey Tardy win her first-career LPGA Tour event, an always exciting milestone to see. This tournament was close for awhile, with Tardy entering the final round tied with Sarah Schmelzel, also looking for her first win. Tardy came into the back nine with a two-stroke lead after finishing the front nine eagle-birdie. Tardy birdied five of her final eight holes to win her first tournament in style.

Come back tomorrow to see No. 8 and 7 on the list of the best tournaments of the year so far.
