After an exciting week in women’s golf, there was some big (and surprising) movement in the Rolex Rankings. Take a look here at some of the biggest changes in the newest Rolex Rankings:

  • With her win in Cincinnati, Charley Hull moved up three spots to No. 5 in the world rankings. This is surprisingly the highest position of her career. Hull has dealt with injuries and illness, but has been in very strong form as of late. In her last three worldwide starts, Hull hasn’t finished worse than runner up.
  • Hull’s fellow Englishwoman Lottie Woad has also ascended to her highest career ranking, knocking at the door of the top 10 in the world, slotting in at 11. Woad had her best stateside finish this week, ending up in third.
  • Korean Shinsil Bang moved up 14 spots into the top 50 in the world after her win on the KLPGA Tour. This was Bang’s third top-15 finish in her last four starts.
  • Shiho Kuwaki entered the top 75 with a runner-up finish on the JLPGA this week. Kuwaki is in excellent form with three top-five finishes in her last four times playing.
  • Shina Kanazawa was one of the biggest movers of the week, jumping 42 spots after winning on the JLPGA, entering the top 100 at No. 90. She has moved up over 100 spots over the last year and is in tremendous current form.
  • The biggest move came from Mary Liu, whose top-five finish in Cincinnati helped her jump 59 spots to No. 135 in the Rolex Rankings.
