LPGA star Rose Zhang has joined the investment group for Bay Golf Club of the TGL, joining Golden State Warriors legends Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Andre Iguodala.
Bay Golf Club includes PGA Tour players Shane Lowry, Wyndham Clark, brother of Minjee Lee, Min Woo Lee and the champion of this past week’s Genesis Invitational, Ludvig Åberg.
Zhang has become the first active LPGA Tour player to invest in a TGL team, Zhang’s mentor Michelle Wie West is an investor of the Los Angeles team.
Zhang is a two-time winner on the LPGA Tour in her two seasons as a professional. She is currently taking time off from professional golf to pursue her degree at Stanford.
The TGL is a golf league consisting only of PGA Tour players in a simulator environment. The matches are regularly broadcast on ESPN.
