On the weekend her 98-consecutive majors streak came to an end, Angela Stanford won for the second week in a row on the Legends of the LPGA Tour.

The Destination Grapevine Texas Women’s Open was a bit of a homecoming for Stanford, played in her hometown of Fort Worth, Texas at the Grapevine Golf Course.

The tournament was shortened from 54 to 36 holes, in which Stanford shot 66-71. Stanford was the best in the field in par 4 scoring for the week, shooting -4.

Finishing in second, four strokes behind Stanford was fellow Texas native Lisa DePaulo, who shot 70-71 and led the field in par 5 scoring for the week at -4 on the three-shot holes.

Also in the top five were major champions Laura Davies and Sherri Steinhauer, both shooting one under.

Stanford will be back in action this week on the LPGA Tour at the ShopRite LPGA Classic, the site of her first career victory on tour.
