The top three players in the Race for the Card standings on the Epson Tour have mathematically clinched their spot on the LPGA Tour in 2026.
Melanie Green, Gina Kim and Briana Chacon are all guaranteed to finish in the top 15 of the Race for the Card standings, giving them at the least status in category 16 of the LPGA Tour priority list. This would put them alongside players who finished 100-125 on the LPGA Tour money list. Green, Kim and Chacon will all likely finish in the top 10 of the standings though, which would give them category 9 status. This will give them status to every standard LPGA Tour event.
Green currently has the most points on the Epson Tour thanks to her remarkable consistency. The 23-year-old Epson Tour rookie who played her college golf at South Florida has five top-five finishes and eight top-10s. She won the Island Resort Championship in June and has been fantastic ever since with four top-10s in five starts.
Kim is a name that may be familiar to LPGA Tour fans as she spent three seasons on the LPGA Tour from 2022-2024. Her return to the Epson Tour has been dominant, as she has won three times. While she hasn’t been as consistent as Green, with just two additional top 10s, she has proven her ability to win better than anyone else out there.
Chacon had one win in 2024, but didn’t have the consistency to seriously challenge for her card in her rookie season on The Epson Tour. She certainly figured that out in 2025, notching two wins with three additional top-10 finishes. Four of those top 10 finishes have come in the last two months and she hasn’t missed a single cut all season.
