In 2021, just a few years ago, the greatest women golfers in the world played for 5.5 million at the U.S. Women’s Open. In 2024, that number will now be 12 million.

New sponsor Ally, known for being a strong supporter of women’s sports, bumped the purse up after being at 11 million in 2023. With this increase it surpasses the CME Tour Championship as the highest paying event of the season.

In addition to becoming the new presenting sponsor for one of the biggest events in golf, Ally is also signing World No. 1 Lilia Vu to an endorsement deal, the company’s first on the LPGA.

The 2024 U.S. Women’s Open will be held at Lancaster Country Club in Lancaster PA, where Allisen Corpuz (above) will defend her 2023 title.
