Many of the players in the Paris Olympics played college golf in the United States, but what schools are the most well represented? See the six schools below that have multiple women’s golfers in the Olympics this year:

ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY – 5

Arizona State University has five players in the women’s golf field, the most of any school, and it shouldn’t be any surprise. Sun Devil women’s golfers are all over the LPGA Tour and LET dominating. Spain has two Sun Devils, Carlota Ciganda and Azahara Muñoz, Sweden has one in Linn Grant, Germany has Alexandra Försterling and Italy has Alessandra Fanali.

UCLA – 4

One of the teams that made the finals of the 2024 National Championship, it should be no surprise they are well represented considering the recent historical success the Bruins have had. The former UCLA players are Lilia Vu from the USA, Patty Tavatanakit from Thailand, Emma Spitz from Austria and Mariajo Uribe from Colombia.

DUKE – 3

Duke brings arguably the most star power to the table here, with their fantastic duo of Leona Maguire from Ireland, and Celine Boutier playing in her home country of France. Also representing the Blue Devils is Ana Belac from Slovenia.

STANFORD – 2

The reigning national champions of course have, arguably the greatest college golfer of all time, Rose Zhang playing for Team USA. Joining Zhang, playing close to home, is Albane Valenzuela, who plays for Switzerland but has a French mother.

ARKANSAS – 2

Arkansas of course is in sole possession of team Mexico at these Olympic games once again. Maria Fassi, who put together a legendary career for the Razorbacks, and Gaby López.

NEW MEXICO STATE – 2

The only real surprise from this list is the New Mexico State Aggies making an appearance with multiple players. Canada’s Alena Sharp and Ursula Wilkström from Finland both went to NM State. Sharp and Wilkström were actually teammates for a couple of years in college.
